Rapid weather change, with snowfall.

At approximately 11:25 AM-ish, I glanced outside the work window and noticed a nice, heavy snowfall. The clouds were a dark color and my vision to the nearby hills were obscured due to the amount of snow that was falling. I thought it was typical. At about 5 minutes later, I noticed a significant change in the color of the clouds and the range in which I could see increased from just seeing the few houses in front to the hills adjacent to the community in a easterly direction (about 6-10 miles out). At about 5 minutes thereafter, I took another photo, and noticed a clearing in the clouds ahead. At about 20 minutes later, it seems to be revert to about the condition 5 minutes after the snowfall (11:30 AM-ish). At about an hour later, clouds have changed tone color to light gray with patches of clear skies. If someone were to view the weather now, they would not likely guess that the event took place.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for this area - warning residents that scattered snow showers may turn in to blowing snow, and to take precautions when traveling.
