Record flooding levels on Okanagan Lake

Observation: I was born and raised in the Okanagan and the level of the Okanagan Lake has never been this high. To see all the impacts on homes, businesses, infrastructure, beaches, and ecosystems is saddening. The true impacts probably won't be realized until the lake level drops. Was it just a unique year of unusual weather conditions or could this be a trend we start to see more frequently? -Dionne Sanderson, Environmental Contaminants Program Coordinator, First Nations Health Authority.
