This winter has been especially mild in the central Bering Sea and this is the earliest recorded fur seal on St. George Island ever.

We are spotting dead baby 'spotted' and 'ringed' seals washing up on the beach with no signs of lesions or signs of gun shots.

Local hunter reported that he had caught a spotted seal that he thought was sick.
