Little Jack Steve,

Three items stand out. The average temp in January was about 8 above. We had several days where the wind stirred but did not take off, yet I could see across the Copper River perhaps five miles over what looks like snow being lifted. Then there were several days when both Mt. Sanford and Mt. Drum were showing evidence of high winds but nothing in Chistochina. Lastly, the skies have been mostly overcast. I counted three days of clear skies since the new year began. Conclusion? We’re in Kansas now!
